Some very real and effective clues to cancer care rest with the person who matters most: the patient. In this talk, Dr Graham Colditz discusses how implementation science offers the maximum return on investment in research. Too often we focus on the discovery end of the science spectrum, whereas implementation science calls for greater attention to end users across systems of care. Multi-level approaches offer enormous potential to overcome barriers and increase access to effective prevention interventions.
Dr Graham Colditz is an internationally recognised leader in cancer prevention. As an epidemiologist and public health expert, he has a longstanding interest in the preventable causes of chronic disease, particularly among women.
