The Australia India Institute's latest instalment of its Question Marks Seminar Series will reflect on the growing commercialisation of Australian and Indian universities and the implications this will have on their function as providers of the public good.

Australia India Institute Director, Professor Craig Jeffrey, will join Professor Fazal Rizvi to explore how Australia might collaborate with India to protect and advance the function of universities as providers of ‘public value’.

The speakers will suggest that a focus on universities as providers of the public good within their city or city-region could be a foundation for common discussion between Australian universities and Indian universities.
