Richard Boothby is one of today's leading viola da gamba players. As the founder of the Purcell Quartet he has been at the forefront of expanding the repertoire for the instrument. This concert features works by Bach and the rediscovered fantasias for viola da gamba by Telemann.

Presented by the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, the Monday Lunch Hour Concert Series is kindly supported by the Cicely & Colin Rigg Bequest.
