This presentation will discuss what we know matters to older people in rural communities, and how northeast Victoria is building a collaborative approach to create an age-friendly region.

Dr Kathleen Brasher will talk about the impact of demographic change on communities and health services, and the benefits of living a longer life. She will discuss the international policy directions from the WHO and UN to address these issues, and the local work that is taking place in northeast Victoria.
