Please join us for a seminar presented by The Honourable Julie Dutil and Professor Adrienne Stone and chaired by Justice Debra Mortimer at the Federal Court of Australia.

This seminar explores proportionality as a principle of constitutional law. Madame Justice Dutil will explore the origins and development of the principle in Canadian constitutional law. Professor Stone will address its development in Australia with particular attention to the decision of the High Court of Australian in McCloy v New South Wales [2015] HCA 34.
