At this one-day seminar, Professor Antonio Baldessarre (School of Music, Lucerne University and President of the Association Répertoire International d’Iconographie Musicale) will speak on the challenges, risk and opportunities involved in researching the iconography of music today. Other sessions cover topics such as Melba iconography, Grainger and Polynesia, music in Hugh Ramsay’s Parisian self-portraits and representations of music in Western European art.
