Louis Klee is a writer who lives on Wurundjeri land. In 2017, he won the Peter Porter Prize and in 2016 his play The Ink Trail was shortlisted for Silver Gull Award. In 2016, he was the Anne Edgeworth Young Writers Fellow and in 2015 he studied playwriting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). As an activist, he has campaigned on environmental, social and political issues, gaining national attention for his Read-In demonstration and co-founding Demos, a radical arts publication. He has studied philosophy as a National Undergraduate Scholar, Santander Scholar, and a Rae and Edith Bennet Scholar, and has won the Palgrave Macmillan Essay Prize.
