The first half of the program explores concepts of time and relationship, with themes of the exotic setting up a tonal language which feeds into the second half of the recital. The first half is closely tied together by the story of a woman in love, and her journey, expressed through music. The second half of the program explores baroque art music from the Iberian Peninsula.
