A Musical Offering

This concert is part of the Melba Hall Lunch Hour Concert Series: a series of free lunch hour concerts held on Mondays from 1.10pm – 2.00pm.

This concert takes a journey into the world of early Austrian violin sonatas, played on a modern replica of a c.1670 Stainer violin (the most popular model at the time) and accompanied by a beautiful continuo ensemble of organ, harpsichord, theorbo, viola da gamba, and lirone.

The Melba Hall Lunch Hour Concert Series is kindly supported by the Cicely & Colin Rigg Bequest.
