This concert is part of the Melba Hall Lunch Hour Concert Series: a series of free lunch hour concerts held on Mondays from 1.10pm – 2.00pm.

  • Jean-Christophe Frisch, baroque flute

This program features Jean-Christophe Frisch (baroque flute), founder and director of the French ensemble XVIII-21 Le Baroque Nomade, who teaches historical performance practice at the Sorbonne (Paris). Works include the trio sonata from J. S. Bach's Musikalisches Opfer (Musical Offering) BMV 1079, and a selection of early 18th-century works for baroque chamber ensemble.
