This concert is part of the Melba Hall Lunch Hour Concert Series: a series of free lunch hour concerts held on Mondays from 1.10pm – 2.00pm.

Concertmaster of the Australian World Orchestra, violinist Daniel Dodds and brilliant pianist Kristian Chong unite in a formidable program of the old and the new. Opening this recital is Saint-Saëns dramatic, virtuosic and thrilling first sonata for Piano and Violin. Co-comissioned by the Perth Concert Hall and Wigmore Hall, the Violin and Piano Sonata by pianist and composer Olli Mustonen concludes, and promises to be a breathtaking event. Do not miss two of Australia’s leading musicians in one of the recitals of the year.

The Melba Hall Lunch Hour Concert Series is kindly supported by the Cicely & Colin Rigg Bequest.
