Dr Jin-hyang Kim, President of Kaesong Industrial Complex Foundation, is an expert of North Korean and unification issues. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Kyungbuk National University in South Korea. In 2003, he joined the transition team for then incoming President Roh Moo Hyun and subsequently became one of the National Security Council members at the Blue House, the Office of the President. Dr Kim was one of the last chief secretaries to serve late President Roh and was in charge of inter-Korean and foreign relations.
