• Associate Professor David Curtis MBBS, PhD, FRACP, FRCPA

Associate Professor Curtis is the Director of Malignant Haematology Research at the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases, Monash University, Alfred Hospital.

His research program uses mouse models to understand the genetic and epigenetic regulation of hematopoietic and leukemic stem cells with the goal of identifying new therapeutic approaches for blood cancers.

His work has been published in journals including Science, Cell Stem Cell, Nature Structural & Molecular Biology, Leukemia and Blood. In addition to his research program, he is an active clinical haematologist and bone marrow transplant physician at Alfred Health.
