Ian Gadd is Professor of English Literature at Bath Spa University, UK. His research focuses on the history of the English book trade from the 16th to the 18th century.
In 2013, he edited the first volume of a new history of Oxford University Press. He is currently President of the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading, and Publishing (SHARP), and a General Editor of the Cambridge Edition of the Works of Jonathan Swift. He is also Academic Director of the Global Academy of Liberal Arts, a select international network of liberal arts providers founded at Bath Spa University in summer 2014.
