Dr. Alireza Farhadi works as a Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Melbourne. From February 2010 to July 2011 he worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at INRIA (the French national institute for research in computer science and control). Before that he worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Ottawa, Canada (May 2008-August 2009) where he received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering on Systems & Control and Telecommunications. His current research interest is concerned with cross-disciplinary approaches for the convergence of computer science and control in large scale networked control systems. His main research interest is concerned with integrated frameworks for control/communication/computation/scalability co-design for emerging complex systems and networks.
