Tim Adair is Principal Research Fellow in the Data for Health Initiative at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne. He is a demographer who has extensive experience in mortality and population ageing research and teaching in Australia and internationally. At the Data for Health Initiative he is involved in methodological developments and training activities in Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) system data quality assessment and analysis in 20 countries. He is also Coordinator of the Masters-level subject Global Population Ageing. He has a PhD in Demography from the Australian National University (2006) and has held positions at the MEASURE DHS project, University of Queensland, Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and National Seniors Productive Ageing Centre.
