Dr Lu Wen was initially trained as a medical doctor at Xiangya School of Medicine in Central South University of China and has obtained a master degree of medicine in neurosurgery. Due to interest in scientific research and inspired by the success of human genome project, he received PhD training in the National Laboratory of Medical Genetics in Central South University. Then he worked on zebrafish genetics and development as a postdoctor in the School of Life Sciences at Peking University, China. He has joined BIOPIC of Peking Unversity as a research scientist since 2011. His research interest is to develop and apply the most advanced genome technologies to address fundamental and compelling biological and medical problems.
