Professor Qimin Zhan is the President of the Peking University Health Science Center, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Oncology (SKLMO), China, and an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. His research is focused on molecular pathways involved in the control of cell cycle checkpoint and apoptosis after DNA damage, and the signalling pathways involved in regulation of the maintenance of genomic stability and tumour metastasis. Recently, Professor Zhan has focussed on cancer translational medicine, including molecular diagnosis and personalised therapy.
