    Dr Sandra Davidson

Dr Sandra Davidson is a Senior Research Fellow and NHMRC Early Career Fellow in the Department of General Practice, Melbourne Medical School. Sandra's research explores innovative approaches to the treatment and management of common mental health disorders. She is the lead investigator on the Driving for Change project which is a world-first study aiming to improve the mental health of a vulnerable, largely migrant, population working as urban taxi drivers. She is also a post-doctoral fellow on the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Mental Health Systems Improvement (CREMSI) and a Chief Investigator on Target-D which is an NHMRC funded randomised controlled trial testing the clinical and cost-effectiveness of using a clinical prediction tool to triage primary care patients with depressive symptoms into different levels of treatment.
