Yusaku Horiuchi is Professor of Government and Mitsui Professor of Japanese Studies at Dartmouth College’s Department of Government, Program in Quantitative Social Science, and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies Program. He is also Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University’s Crawford School of Public Policy and Faculty Associate at Harvard University’s Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies and Program on US-Japan Relations. Professor Horiuchi earned his PhD in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research and teaching interests include comparative politics and quantitative social science. He has articles published in leading journals, such as American Journal of Political Science, American Political Science Review, British Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Politics, Political Analysis, Political Psychology, Quarterly Journal of Political Science, Science Advances and World Politics, among others.
