    Professor Colin McLeod

Colin is a Professor at the Melbourne Business School and the Executive Director of the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre at the University of Melbourne. He has also held appointments at the Haas School of Business at the University of California – Berkeley and the Judge School of Business at the University of Cambridge.

He is also a Director and investor in several early stage companies in financial services, health technology, retail technology, telecommunications, wearable technology and aged care with clients in Asia, Africa, North America and Europe. During his commercial career, Colin held senior management roles at the Australian Football League (AFL), Goldman Sachs JBWere and Telstra’s Mobiles division.
Colin served as a member of the Executive Committee that raised almost $200 million to construct the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre & Research Institute at the Austin Hospital and is a member of the AFL Research Board.

Colin holds a BA, an MBA and a PhD with the Commercialisation of Innovation as the topic of his doctoral thesis.
