Festival of Ideas 2013 - Developing a Love of Seasonal Fresh Food from Childhood - Session 10

The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program is working with over 300 primary schools across Australia, inspiring children to grow, harvest, prepare and share their own seasonal fresh food. As founder of the Kitchen Garden program, Stephanie's address will focus on its benefits - sharing the philosophy and successes, highlighting how students' health, well-being, identity and practical skills are positively impacted by the program.

Stephanie will be joined by educationalists, epicurists and child development experts to address the challenge of promoting lifelong healthy eating habits and a positive relationship with food.
