Special Event: NCDFREE Launch

Non-Communicable Diseases (or NCD's) such as heart disease, lung disease, diabetes and cancer are the leading cause of global deaths, overwhelmingly affecting the poorest and most marginalised communities in the world.

NCDFree is a global social movement which seeks to connect global citizens to support health activities in developing nations. The University of Melbourne is pleased to host the launch of NCD-Free as part of the 2013 Festival of Ideas. The launch will bring together ten young change-makers from around the globe to tell their stories and call for action.
