Future of Work: Plenary Panel 1

Algorithms mediate our contact with information and people in all sorts of ways. They determine what news stories we see and what products are recommended to us. The field of “people analytics” is already using algorithms for HR tasks, such as selection and performance assessment.

This session will discuss the uses of algorithms to identify future leaders. How far has this process already gone, and how much further should it go? What are the benefits and drawbacks of algorithms, compared with intuitive approaches?
