Sustainability Charter Forum
On the 16 December the University held a public forum as part of the consultation process for the development of a Sustainability Charter.
The Sustainability Charter will bind all the University’s sustainability-related activities together under one clear framework with a unifying narrative about the University’s responsibility to lead and act on sustainability and climate change. It will articulate a set of high-level principles and commitments that will be translated into priority actions through the Sustainability Plan.
Consultation on the Charter commenced in October and continues until the end of the 2015. Consultation can be provided through the Sustainable Campus website or at specific events such as this forum.
Moderated by Maxine McKew and featuring speakers including Professor Ross Garnaut and State Member for Melbourne, Ms Ellen Sandell, this forum is an opportunity for you to engage in the conversation on the development of the Sustainability Charter.
