This concert and Q&A is a great opportunity for music students in Years 10 – 12 to hear and interact with current Bachelor of Music (Jazz & Improvisation) students who are following professional pathways in jazz and improvised music.

With the opportunity chat informally to current students, as well as a Q&A on what it’s like to pursue jazz study at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, the concert is open to all instrumentalists and vocalists interested in jazz and improvisation.

The Q&A will be run by Andrea Keller, Lecturer in Jazz & Improvisation. Andrea is a pianist and composer, dedicated to the performance and creation of contemporary jazz and improvised music. She has had extensive experience teaching, performing, recording and touring, and has been significantly lauded with multiple ARIA and Australian Jazz Bell Awards.
