    Dr George Ashdown

George is a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Life Sciences at Imperial College London, he completed his PhD in Biophysics at King’s College London where he used live-cell super-resolution imaging to analyse the T cell immunological synapse. His current research has been focused on the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum, using fluorescence imaging to define drug effect. In the future George is looking to expand these imaging and analysis techniques to host-pathogen interactions.
