The Conservatorium’s wind ensembles conclude the semester with the theme of voices – repertoire ranging from quiet reflection to driving rhythmic thoughts. A variety of international voices will feature in the Concert Band's programme, with composers mirroring their time and place. The Wind Symphony features works all with emotional stories to tell: the calm reflection of the Australian outback with First Light at Uluru, composed by Katia Beaugeais, the playful argument in Catherine Likhuta's Me Disagrees and the deeply personal Symphony No. 2 by Jim Stephenson.

Conducted by Kevin Cameron. Featuring the Conservatorium Wind Symphony and the Conservatorium Concert Band.
