As a die hard music theatre fan plays a record of his favourite show, the fictional 1928 musical The Drowsy Chaperone springs to life. This joyous parody of musical comedy won five Tony Awards and seven Drama Desk Awards for its premiere season in 1998. Led by an exceptional creative team including Alister Smith (director), David Young (Musical Director) and Dana Jolly (choreographer), this performance is a collaboration between students from Music Theatre, Production and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM).
