Acoustic Pavilion – Design exhibition
Experience architecture in a whole new way! Visit MPavilion Parkville and see how students are transforming sound and space.
This semester, students enrolled in the DF_Lab elective at the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning are collaborating with musicians to create acoustic structures for outdoor performances. They will explore architectural design through making, combining traditional craft techniques with digital technology and algorithmic design tools.
Join us at MPavilion Parkville to enjoy the innovative pavilion designs they come up with and learn about acoustics – the invisible and often overlooked consequence of architectural design.
